Ocean Craft Marine (OCM) based in Annapolis, Maryland will once again be exhibiting at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 24th thru April 29th, 2023.

Ocean Craft Marine will be bringing to the FDIC an Amphibious Search and Rescue (SAR) Boat that was custom designed and built for the North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad, Water Rescue Team.

7.1M SAR Amphibious AMP

This 7.1M SAR Amphibious (AMP) Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) represents the industry’s latest innovations in high-performance search and rescue RHIB designs as well as providing for an amphibious rescue operations. The vessel integrates many features that provide for a very successful multi-mission capable platform. The vessel has a Hypalon pneumatic collar, featuring twin diver-recovery notches, a hinged/folding T-Top, mission-modular and re-configurable shock-mitigating seating custom built by Shockwave Seat®, advanced navigation and communications electronics to include FLIR® thermal imagery.

The OCM 7.1 SAR AMP is powered by a single Mercury Marine Verado® 250 Pro Outboard Motor, controlled by Mercury Marine’s Digital Throttle Shift (DTS) Control Binnacle while also using Mercury’s Vessel View system to monitor the engine and fuel systems.
